The list of her publications containing more than 70 items
is a bright evidence of it.
Having received her scientific title of Candidate of Philological
Sciences in Moscow for her research in Theoretical English
Grammar she started learning and researching other different
spheres of Methodology, Linguistics and Civilization of
English speaking countries.
Being a good mixer and initiator of finding new means of
quick acquisition of English and, later, of prompt finding
various chunks of information, she has been a leader of
the students' groups working out different computer teaching
and learning programs and tests. So far she has received
46 certificates for computer programs.
In 1996 she became an Alumna of Salzburg Seminar, and became
the first person in Moldova to create Personal Homepage

In 1997-1998 Valentina Singhirei was staying in the USA
as a Fulbright researcher. She created there her second
Homepage, made it interactive and with the help of Internet
Access Training Programs Center in Moldova keeps it knowledgeable
for those who are interested in Methodology, Linguistics,
Computers in Teaching and Learning English, On-line Libraries,
On-line Dictionaries, On-line Encyclopaedias and Civilization
of English speaking countries.
Nowadays she is very active in conducting various seminars
and workshops on Methodology, Computer Assisted Language
Learning and Civilization of English speaking countries
with English teachers of Moldova.
Her sharing ideas on IT in education:
After coming back from the USA Dr.V.Singhirei has been developing
her ties with the teachers of English and the educators
in Moldova through various workshops and meetings on the
IT, in general, and on the course of “Multimedia in
Education”, in particular. Some of them are the following:
• In spring 2001, the Balti IATP, the presentation
on “How
to Use Yahoo! E-mail and Yahoo!Briefcase in Managing Information”.
• During spring, summer and autumn 2002, the presentation
on “Learning Styles and Electronic Information”
in the Moldova IATP centers: Balti, Comrat, Cahul, Ungeni
Orhei, Causeni, the ARC, also in the TransNistria region,
in Tiraspol lyceum.
• In August 2002, in Holercani, in Summer School for
Teachers of English, the presentation “Using Computers
in TEFL/ESP” and “Hypermedia Skills in Teaching
the History of the USA”.
• On September 18, 2003 in the Senate Hall from the
Balti State University, within the seminar with the school
administrators from Balti and the northern regions of the
republic on the topic “New Informational Technologies in Education”,
the presentation on the possibilities
to use the computer in the teaching process and sharing
the experience of delivering the university course“Multimedia
in Education”.
